Recruiter Partner Program
Traditional recruiters earn a one-time fee and move on. When you partner with Business Legal Management, a single introduction earns you residual commissions for as long as your client stays — up to four years and beyond.
The Standard Model
Most recruiters operate on a contingency placement fee model. When a candidate is successfully placed, the recruiter earns a one-time fee — typically 15% to 25% of the candidate's first-year salary for mid-level roles, and up to 33% for executive search.
Once that fee is collected, the engagement ends. There is no ongoing relationship, no residual income, and no benefit if the placed candidate stays for five years and grows into a key executive.
Retained search firms collect fees in installments during the search process — but the economics are the same: one engagement, one fee, done.

Residual Commission Structure
* Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the client's annual retainer fee paid to Business Legal Management. The 5% rate continues for the duration of the client relationship beyond year four.
The Commission Schedule
Our commission structure is designed to reward the quality of your introduction. A strong match — a client who stays with BLM for years — is worth far more to you than a one-time fee.
The schedule declines over time to reflect the diminishing acquisition cost as the client relationship matures — but it never goes to zero. As long as your client remains with BLM, you continue to earn.

Why Partner with BLM
BLM replaces a $500K+ in-house legal department for a fraction of the cost. When you introduce a mid-market company to BLM, you're solving a real, expensive problem — not pitching a service they don't need.
BLM's embedded model creates deep operational integration. Clients don't leave. That means your residual commissions are stable, predictable income — not a hope.
BLM is not a staffing firm. We don't compete for the placements you make. Referring a client to BLM opens a new income stream without touching your existing practice.
The commission schedule is clear and fixed. No thresholds, no splits, no clawbacks. You make the introduction, we close the engagement, you earn — every year.
